Recently, the hospital purchased Norix’s Gibraltar Beam Seating in a variety of colors from our Naturals Color Palette for its emergency room waiting area. The hues selected add a nice color pop and match the floor patterns, adding a humanizing effect to the space.

Gibraltar is a healthcare furniture solution for facilities that need aesthetically pleasing and highly durable seating solutions. The seats are rotationally molded from durable polyethylene and are fire-retardant, non-absorbent and easy to clean. The molded-in threaded steel inserts provide for a tamper-resistant, steel-to-steel attachment to the base frame. The 14-gauge tubular steel frame is bent and welded to provide arm or armless in-line seating. Standard configurations are for 1 to 4 people. To boot, Gibraltar includes a heavy-duty flat steel plate welded to the frame at each seat location to provide strength, support and a mounting platform on which the seat is securely attached.
